About the job

As the Sales Manager Norway, you will be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of all sales towards our Norwegian partners.

In your role you will have the full budget responsibility and responsibilities extends beyond merchandising and the sell-in process, encompassing planning, reporting, and analysis to maintain sustainable growth for our key partners.

 

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the sales team.

In close collaboration with Head of Region, drive and develop the long term sustainable strategy for the defined partners.

 

Pre-Season:

  • Develop and maintain a 3-year seasonal topline forecast based on account and marketplace insights
  • Align financial plans for each Key Account, integrating account strategy, profitability, stock and sales plans alongside marketplace data
  • Deliver seasonal merchandise plans based on assortment and channel strategy, ensuring that risks and opportunities against the topline forecast are clearly communicated and managed
  • Lead the process of reviewing and integrating seasonal learnings throughout the pre-season critical path

 

In-Season:

  • Create and execute seasonal top plans, including inventory and sales strategies
  • Develop informed and cohesive plans across categories, gender, and business units (Footwear/Apparel/Hardware)
  • Oversee forecasts and provide actionable recommendations for your Key Accounts
  • Coordinate financial planning with Key Accounts to ensure alignment
  • Ensure the brand story is effectively communicated and implemented at all points of purchase (POPs), including visual merchandising and training

 

Post-Season:

  • Recap and analyze the performance of product ranges
  • Report on the contribution of key items to the success of your Key Accounts
  • Provide insights and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders for future seasonal planning

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Sales, can be compensated with work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions, preferably in the outdoor and/or sports industry.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and balance competing priorities, with a very high execution power.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a relationship builder with a proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, with proficiency in integrating large data sets from multiple sources to drive informed business decisions
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently
