This role is Oslo based, with sales district Vest Norway.



Position

Great opportunity to join our team as Sales Representative! This role is Oslo based, with sales district Vest Norway.

 

You will be responsible for the sell in of Rab and Lowe Alpine company products to agreed targets, promotion of the Rab and Lowe Alpine brands within the accounts that you manage and for staff training and retail promotion to aid the sell-through of products.



Key Responsibilities of Sales Representative (including but not limited to):

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential customers to agreed targets. (70%)
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships at all levels: buyers, managers, and staff.
  • Develop strong sales, marketing and merchandising relationships.
  • Maintain customer relationships and develop new prospects.
  • Achieve seasonal sales goals in line with Company expectations.
  • Significant travel within the country to get orders during sales campaigns
  • Manage all aspects of the sell in and sell through following the set out seasonal timelines and support information provided, including the delivery of staff training.
  • Champion and present the Company brands using Marketing support and resources supplied.
  • Participate in events such as product launches, trade shows, marketing events, etc.(10%)
  • Report sales performance/trends on a monthly basis
  • Attend consumer events to increase brand awareness
  • Provide administrative support to Warranty/Repairs department for Nordics region (20%)

Requirements

To join us as Sales Representative you must have:

Essential

  • Significant experience (ideally 4 years plus) in a similar sales role
  • Excellent relationship building skills for use with customers and internal teams
  • Good level of product knowledge and a true passion for the Outdoors, with first-hand experience of using outdoor clothing and equipment in a variety of conditions
  • Strong working knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, practices and techniques
  • A natural ability to communicate clearly and confidently, in one-to-one situations, in front of large groups and on camera
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and independently, as well as part of a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to tight deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Good understanding of all main IT software, Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, Outlook etc
  • Ability to travel and attend sales events and trade shows
  • Current full driving licence


Desirable

  • National Account retail experience
