Helly Hansen is looking for a Marketing Manager Workwear - Global
Mission:
Leverage a deep understanding of Helly Hansen’s Workwear consumer and business to launch consumer and trade initiatives that drive consumer demand and incremental revenue. Ensures that all communications from the Workwear division are in line with and supportive of Helly Hansen’s positioning and the Workwear category business objectives.
Execution and Management
Identifies, drives the development, execution and maintenance of world class trade marketing and consumer programs that drive Brand and Commerce – to include trade programs, on-product, POS, events, ambassadors and sponsorships.
Develop the seasonal / annual Workwear marketing plan based on:
HH Brand strategy, guided by the specific and unique needs of Workwear
Unique opportunities to leverage Sport’s broader awareness to drive Workwear objectives
Knowledge and understanding of Workwear customer and consumer base
Lead trade campaign process & implementation (with Regional Marketing & Workwear HQ & sales)
Elements of the marketing plan to include:
Coordinate & lead & deliver Seasonal toolbox (in conjunction with Central Marketing team)
Workwear specific partnerships & relationships (in conjunction with Regional Marketing & Sales Teams)
Seasonal and non-seasonal campaign development that promote incremental at-once (executed with regional teams)
POS programs in conjunction with (with regional teams and Retail Marketing)
Social media programs (with regional teams and Digital Marketing).
Works with the Brand Communications team in the development of Workwear communication tools.
Works with Workwear product director to ensure that Workwear product & marketing strategy aligns and supports the strongest possible claims for the category (positioning and technology).
Leads trade show concept & implementation (key stories, merchandising, etc…)
Plan yearly rotation of E-com focus areas/products (with Workwear HQ and E-com team)
Leads planning of Workwear Social Media Seasonal/yearly focus and ad calendar as well as leveraging local ambassadors and partners for content (with regional teams and Digital Marketing)
Plays an active / pro-active role in the overall Helly Hansen Marketing process (as the Workwear Advocate) to ensure Workwear integration as warranted and appropriate.
Identify unique opportunities to leverage the strength of Workwear to feed into the overall Helly Hansen Brand development. Identify and act on opportunities to leverage “Sport” investments in the Workwear world (e.g. Workwear products included in strategic initiatives & partnerships).
Manages “on-time/on-budget” deliveries, and at the right quality level.

Experience / Skills Required
5 years of relevant trade and/or consumer marketing experience. Workwear experience is a plus.
Education: Business degree BA or BS degree in Business, Marketing or related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
Analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
Superior communications and presentation skills.
Strong organizational / project management skills in a multinational business.
Ability to inspire, lead and manage external resources and colleagues across a matrix organization.
Experience working with and managing external partnerships.
Ability to work centrally while executing at the ground level.
Willing and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
Ability to make decisions and set priorities that meet project, brand & financial goals.
