Helly Hansen is looking for a Product Manager, Outdoor/Ski - Temporary
We are now looking for a person to manage the product creation and innovation and connect the dots between purpose, design and development. As part of The Helly Hansen Global Product team, this position partners with Design and Development, as well as Marketing, Sales and operation to support the development of the global Mountain/Ski business. The role will also support the development of seasonal product initiatives and assortments to meet financial targets/metrics and assist with delivering on strategic intent.
How You Will Make A Difference
Be an internal product expert and create innovative award-winning products
Ensure departments across functions are aligned with seasonal stories
Lead facilitation of Product Creation from ideation to launch
Undertake financial management of the ranges, meeting KPI´s and business targets
Gather market research and interpret opportunities (competitive analysis/comps shops) to align on seasonal opportunities
Curate channel assortments and assist in segmentation that provide meaningful points of difference by channel
Participates in cross functional Go-To-Market work stream and ensuring seasonal launch is brought to life instore and online
Coordinate/participate in Preseason meetings with targeted strategic accounts/D2C
Sales Meeting Presentation preparation and participation
As Product Manager, you will report directly the Category Managing Director and will work cross functionally across Product, Operations, Marketing and Sales departments.
Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+ years in product creation/management/merchandising/development.
Educational Position Requirements: A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.

Strong understanding of the outdoor/ski marketplace, including regional difference and across diverse channels of distribution
Ability to play and integral role within a broader team, connect the department and individual expectations to company vision
Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
Ability to work with others as part of cross-functional team, build consensus, and achieve results across a variety of distinct groups
