About the role
Viking Footwear has high ambitions for growth and is now recruiting a full time Sales Representative to join our Scandinavian sales team. The position is based out of our brand-new HQ in Oslo.
You must be a fast-moving, driven individual with a strong customer focus. To effectively manage this process, the appointed individual should be comfortable with direct customer consulting and opportunity development. The role will provide a fair amount of autonomy and therefore a highly motivated approach to generate leads, revenue, and achieve individual sales targets is essential. The role demands regular travelling to gain growth in your area of responsibility. You will oversee your own customer portfolio as well as support our Key Account team on a door-by-door level.
Amongst other things, you will on daily basis meet and sell to customers, do merchandising, product clinics and support both sales events and brand activations.

About Viking
Our history dates back to 1920 when our founder, Peter Mathias Røwde founded a rubber factory in Askim. The brand name was Viking and the factory started to produce galoshes to prevent shoes from getting muddy and wet. A few years later the production was expanded and led to the introduction of our now famous rubber boots.
Since then, Viking has continued to challenge the laws of nature. We have tested and improved our footwear and won numerous tests and awards both in Norway and Internationally. We have continued our strong collaboration with Gore-Tex as well as added collaborations with ingredient brands like Michelin, BOA, Vibram and Primaloft, but also strong consumer brands like DNT, Moomin and Holzweiler.
